About Tri Inspection Detection
Tri Inspection Detection opened in 2016 to help individuals and families with one of the largest decisions of their life. We help when buying a home, renting an apartment or purchasing a property for a business or as an investment. You view homes and start with rose colored glasses seeing everything as perfect and how your possessions will fit or how it will feel when you move in.
You hire us to find any safety or maintenance conditions that the property may have. This is not to give you a stamp of approval or a X to not by property. Our report we prepare and review with you is to make sure you are not caught unaware one week to one year into being in your new property and realizing you are unable to fix or handle a condition that was there. Our report also gives you rough estimate of time frames so you can plan and save toward gradual repairs/replacements of large ticket items.

Who is Luke Bartlett
I am a proud father of ten children, six girls and four boys, and loving husband since 2004. Before becoming a Certified Professional home Inspector in 2016, I worked as an electrician for six years in the Chicagoland area with IBEW 134. Then my family and I moved to central Illinois. I worked in in Industrial maintenance in an industrial setting learning about plumbing, welding and mechanical maintenance. I had worked for two insulation company learning about blown in cellulose and spray foam insulation and slab jacking.
Hearing stories from people I knew or ran into about a home they bought or a rental situation that went sideways, I decided that I had the ability to help individuals/families with one of there largest and most confusing decision they will make. Having the ability to help them understand conditions that I find in a way they that is not alarming and that is contextual so they can realize what is involved with repair or prevention. This i realized was what I wanted to do.
I have went through state licensing classes and many hours of personal research to make sure I provide you with the most complete and thorough inspection along with the most recent and up to date information to make sure you are making an informed decision. I also do not want our relationship to end at the inspection, I take a personal interest and concern in my clients and feel like you are an extension of family. That is why I go above and beyond for my clients.

Why Hire Us
There are many reasons to have a professional home inspection done on a home, rental or light commercial property you are considering. The inspection is your best tool when it comes to making the most of your investment. The most common are buyer/seller inspection, individual component inspection, new construction inspection, rental move in/out inspections, landlord inspections and consultation before beginning a do-it-yourself project. We look at each inspection individually, but the bottom line is that the inspection is done solely for the clients peace of mind. An unbiased independent quality inspection is essential.
Not all inspectors are created equal. We all come from different backgrounds with different motivations to why we became inspectors, to what our goal for the inspection will be.
"THE GOLDEN RULE"
We treat YOU like WE would want to be treated. We take our time to get to know our clients, understand their situation. We find out, what, if any, your concerns about the property are. We walk you through the conditions we find in a manner that you can understand with explanations as to what may be the cause and what options you may have with regard to correction of the conditions. But that is NOT were our relationship ends. We want to come along side you as long as you own your new property that we inspect for you. There are always questions that come up, always new conditions that appear and you need to know is this something that I should worry about or is this normal. If we can help we want to.
That is OUR commitment to you and what WE stand for. We will be there for you as long as you own your home. If in five or ten years you want to hire a contractor to do some remodel or you see something that you had not noticed before, we encourage you to call or text us to get our advice. We do not benefit from this since we do not do the work, this give you the knowledge to be able to talk to contractors so you can get apples to apples comparison when getting quotes.
